Unmanned Systems Forces
Our crews engage enemy personnel, aerial threats, military equipment, ammunition depots, command posts, logistics infrastructure, and electronic warfare systems.
By combining aerial reconnaissance, intelligence analysis, and precision strike capabilities, the brigade maintains continuous battlefield awareness, enables rapid decision-making, and delivers accurate firepower across its area of operations.
The integrated use of these capabilities enables the brigade to effectively conduct reconnaissance, deliver precision strikes, and provide air defense while maintaining continuous battlefield control.
The HAWKS developed the Vezha module and, in cooperation with the Center for Innovation and Defense Technology Development and the Center for Technology Scaling, successfully integrated it into the Delta battlefield management system.

He graduated from the Kharkiv Military University, the Kyiv National Economic University, and the National Defence University of Ukraine, where he completed the Joint Operational Headquarters Course (L3).
He has served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 1997. During his military career, he participated in peacekeeping operations in Iraq before continuing his service within the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 2007, he left active military service and joined the logistics industry. In 2017, he founded his own business.
Prior to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he was actively involved in civic initiatives and volunteer activities.
In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he returned to military service. In November 2022, he was appointed commander of the newly established 411th Independent HAWKS Unmanned Aerial Systems Battalion, responsible for conducting reconnaissance, target acquisition, target identification, and precision strike missions along the entire frontline.
Under his command, the HAWKS have participated in the majority of tactical-level operations conducted by the Defense Forces of Ukraine throughout 2023–2024 across the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Training depends on the position, operational responsibilities, and the candidate's level of experience. New personnel receive the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to serve in a high-tech unmanned systems brigade.

The timeline depends on your individual circumstances, including interviews, document verification, the Military Medical Commission (MMC), coordination with the TCC, or transfer procedures. The HAWKS recruitment team supports candidates throughout every stage, making the process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Yes. The HAWKS consider transfer requests from service members of other military units and branches of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Every application is reviewed individually, taking into account your military specialty, experience, skills, and the brigade's operational needs.
All HAWKS service members serve officially under Ukrainian law and receive military pay and benefits in accordance with current legislation. The amount depends on your position, service conditions, and operational duties.
Yes. During the interview, you can indicate your preferred specialization, such as EW, FPV, reconnaissance, IMINT analysis, or another field. Recruiters will evaluate your experience, skills, and technical background. If your qualifications match the role, you will be recommended for that position; otherwise, appropriate training will be provided.
